The United Way Housing Alliance, in partnership with eHome America, is now offering a free online education curriculum to assist households receiving mortgage assistance through the Alabama Housing Finance Authority. Anyone participating in AHFA’s Mortgage Assistance Alabama program has access to both individualized counseling by a HUD-Certified Housing Counselor and a self-paced education course designed for households financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. In this course, you will be guided through spending plan strategies, setting financial goals, tips to avoiding foreclosure, managing debt, and setting yourself up for successful homeownership. Participation in the eHome America course is optional but highly recommended
